The Ryan Scott Story

I was born in a small town, in central Maine, in 1974. As a teenager and young adult, I battled acne. It was an embarrassing frustrating condition; I became obsessed with products and their ingredients. It was my mission to learn what particular ingredients did and how formulations could affect a product’s performance. There was no internet at that time, so a lot of the process involved dictionaries, encyclopedias, books, and articles. This labor of love set the groundwork for Sweet Cheeks Aesthetics.

Out of high school, I moved to Boston, MA., where I pursued a career as a manager for New England’s highest grossing Origins store. I stayed with Origins for 2 years and also became a make-up artist, traveling between NYC & Boston, working on photoshoots and runway shows.

I moved to San Diego in 1999, and opened a successful massage therapy studio. I put the studio on hold last year to pursue my education and realize my lifelong dream of opening an aesthetics office. In December of 2006, Sweet Cheeks Aesthetics: A happy place for skin & body opened.
